Empower your passion for diving by joining our upcoming Classified (Adaptive) Dive Buddy course! Operated through Adaptive Scuba Knoxville at Ski/Scuba Center, this specialized SSI program provides the training necessary to become a certified partner for divers with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities. You will gain hands-on experience in adaptive techniques, including safe entries and exits, specialized equipment handling, and tactile communication methods. Through unique empathy training—such as simulated blindness or restricted mobility—you’ll develop a deep understanding of the adaptive diving environment while sharpening your own elite-level dive skills.

To join this rewarding journey, participants must hold Open Water, Stress & Rescue, and React Right (CPR/First Aid/O2) certifications. Once certified, you'll have the life-changing opportunity to work directly with our adaptive divers, helping them experience the weightless freedom of the ocean.
